This Privacy Policy describes how ATRUGO ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and discloses information when you use the ShrinkJet mobile application ("the App") on Android, iOS, or other platforms.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. The core philosophy of ShrinkJet is privacy-first: all image processing, edge reconstruction, metadata stripping, document scanning, and text recognition (OCR) occur 100% locally and offline on your device. We do not upload your images or documents to any remote servers.

1. Summary of On-Device Processing

ShrinkJet utilizes local hardware acceleration (on-device CPU, GPU, and Neural engines) to process your data.

• Image Compression & Edits: Files you select or capture are compressed and optimized entirely on-device using local silicon.
• Ghost Mode (Metadata Stripping): Exif metadata (such as GPS location coordinates, camera model, and timestamps) is stripped locally before saving.
• Neural Healing & Document Scanning (OCR): Edge reconstruction, paper-to-digital scanning, and text extraction (OCR) are executed completely locally. Our offline OCR and edge reconstruction utilize Google ML Kit. While it processes all images locally without sending photos to the cloud, Google ML Kit may collect standard anonymous diagnostic telemetry (such as crash logs or model performance metrics) to improve its services.
• Storage: We do not store, intercept, or transmit your media files. Your processed images are saved directly to your device's local gallery or public media directories.

2. Information Collected by Third-Party Services

While we do not collect or upload your personal files, the App integrates third-party Software Development Kits (SDKs) to facilitate advertisements and in-app subscription features. These services collect and process data in accordance with their respective privacy policies:

A. Google AdMob (Google LLC)

The App displays advertisements to free-tier users using Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use information including:

• Advertising Identifiers: Google Advertising ID (on Android) or IDFA (on iOS).
• Device Information: Device model, screen size, operating system version, and system language.
• IP Address & Location: General location data (such as country or city) inferred from your IP address.
• Ad Interaction Data: Information on which ads are displayed, clicked, or viewed.
• Privacy Policies: Google Privacy & Terms and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

B. RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc.)

The App manages Pro subscriptions and verifies transactions using RevenueCat. RevenueCat may collect and use:

• Transaction Identifiers: Apple App Store or Google Play Store transaction IDs.
• Subscription Status: Details regarding subscription state (active/inactive, renewal dates, entitlement tier).
• Anonymized User IDs: A randomly generated identifier that isolates your subscription configuration from your physical identity.
• Privacy Policy: RevenueCat Privacy Policy.

3. Permissions Requested

To function properly, ShrinkJet requests the following system permissions:

• Camera (android.permission.CAMERA / iOS Camera Permission): Used to capture images or documents directly within the app for processing. Photos are processed in a transient sandboxed view and are never stored or transmitted to external servers.
• Storage / Media Access: Used to select, compress, and save images or PDFs locally on the device. Depending on your OS version, this utilizes system Photo Pickers or scoped storage options to minimize access to your broader media library.

You can grant or deny these permissions at any time through your device settings. Denying permissions may limit certain functionalities of the App.

4. Retention and Security of Data

Because all image, text, and document data is processed on-device, we do not store, maintain, or transmit this data to any remote location. Any diagnostic or telemetry data gathered by Google AdMob or RevenueCat is retained by those platforms in compliance with their privacy guidelines. We do not have access to your personal financial details or billing credentials, which are handled securely and directly by the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

5. Children's Privacy

Our App does not directly target children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information to our third-party partners (such as AdMob or RevenueCat), please contact us, and we will work with these services to remove any such information.

6. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to opt-out of personalized advertising.

• Opt-out of Ads: Free-tier users can opt-out of personalized ads in their Google or Apple device settings. Alternatively, you can upgrade to the Pro Version of ShrinkJet, which completely disables all advertisements and SDK initialization for AdMob.
• Data Erasure: Since we do not host or store your data on our own servers, we cannot delete user data because we do not possess it. For data held by third parties (AdMob/RevenueCat), please consult their individual privacy rights and requests pages.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy.
